USDC: outbreak and demand
The network data showed that the current amount of USDC stablecoin in circulation surpassed $1 billion in June.
Tether USDT is leading as the first stablecoin which has managed to break $1 billion, and it is currently keeping its leading positions on the market, while its market capitalization exceeds $30 according to the information for 30th June and trailing only Bitcoin and Ethereum.
It is notable that circulation of USDC reflects the demand growth seen in June, when its total volume increased by 37% from 730 920 001 to 1 002 228 740. The current amount presents the 93% increase from the beginning of 2020.
This makes the coin the 18th largest digital currency with 10 fold circulation volume in decentralized space.
