Anubis hacker program attacks users

Microsoft Security Intelligence mentioned in its latest tweet about the latest cryptocurrency virus program for Microsoft Windows, called Anubis. The team explained how crypto wallets installed in MS Windows face a security threat, and users should take steps to stay protected from this threat.

The new MS encryption malware, Anubis, probably uses Loki-related code. It collects user information stored in the wallet, including credit card information, personal data, and other data stored in OS files.

Despite the powerful security features used by most crypto companies, malicious software is besieging the cryptocurrency. The Anubis malware WAS first discovered in June 2020. Interestingly, another Trojan called Anubis infects Android smartphones.
