South Korea puts blockchain integrating in health first

South Korean government is doing its utmost to adopt blockchain since health care becomes the first sector that will benefit from the technology implementation

South Korean government is planning to use blockchain for various purposes in different industries.
Central bank is currently considering the issue on using CBDC (central bank digital currency), while government departments are going to implement local identification solutions into the existing systems. Clinics, pharmaceutical companies and research centers are also searching for blockchain solutions.
Government insists on integrating blockchain and carry out several projects to find a way to adapt the technology to the existing systems.
Non-governmental organization Commons Foundation has presented its model for developing a blockchain platform which aims for fighting against the pandemic. In accordance with local news, the organization will rely on governmental blockchain services for creating solutions on the basis of epidemiological studies for the upcoming post-coronavirus era.
