After the arrest of Graham Ivan Clark, it was established that a 17-year-old boy suspected of committing a recent hack on Twitter owns more than $ 3 million worth of Bitcoin assets

The little hacker turned out to be a millionaire

The lawyer of the suspect hacker David Weisber told about the presence of crypto-currencies from their clients, which came to light at the hearing. Clark reportedly has 300 PTS, which is worth $ 3.35 million.

Weisbrod said that Clark was not charged after the investigation, and his seized money was returned along with 300 BTC. Weisbrod argued that this legalizes Bitcoin: “I can’t think of a better sign of legitimacy than the return of money by law enforcement,” Weisbrod said.

However, it is unclear why 300 BTC was returned instead of all 400 BTC seized from the 17-year-old, after they refused to charge him in court.

Recall that the young suspect was arrested on Friday, when he was charged with 30 charges of committing a fraudulent Bitcoin scheme, using popular Twitter accounts.

After court proceedings on Saturday, the suspected Twitter hacker was released on bail only after $ 725,000 was deposited. And this is six times the amount that he is accused of stealing through a hack on Twitter.
